FlipTicker is a locally-run application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data FlipTicker accesses and how it is handled.

Data We Do Not Collect

FlipTicker does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:

No analytics or tracking
No accounts or login required
No data sent to our servers (we don't have servers)
No cookies from FlipTicker

Data Stored Locally

Your configuration (display settings, chosen leagues, favorite teams, etc.) is stored in your browser's localStorage or the Electron app's local storage on your device. This data never leaves your machine.

Third-Party API Requests

FlipTicker makes requests to the following public APIs to display live data:

Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) — weather, air quality, sunrise/sunset
ESPN (espn.com) — sports scores
CoinGecko (coingecko.com) — cryptocurrency prices
Yahoo Finance (finance.yahoo.com) — stock prices
Wikipedia (wikipedia.org) — On This Day historical events
icanhazdadjoke (icanhazdadjoke.com) — jokes
NOAA (tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov) — tide predictions
Where The ISS At (wheretheiss.at) — ISS position
Feedly (feedly.com) — RSS feed search/discovery

These requests are made directly from your device to these services. FlipTicker does not proxy, log, or intercept these requests. Each service has its own privacy policy.
